Well, its that time of year again…and instead of a new Christmas Card this year, I thought I share some of the cards from Chistmas past. With this ever growing family of mine, I ran out of time to be creative for something new. Do not worry, I’ll start brainstorming for 2010.

2001

So let us start back to 2001 (or was this 2000? …I’m not totally sure). Anyway, This was inspired by my new surroundings in DC. I went with the archaic method of an animated gif file. It was the only way I knew at the time to have most everyone be able to see in their browsers.

2002

2003

My first Co-Hosted card. Just a html page…pretty lame. The text on the right I just threw in … I don’t have a record of what it actually said but I guess this is close enough.

2004

Here is probably my favorite. I’m hoping to do more of this sort in the future when I eventually get a camcorder.

I went back to the old school hard copies. Ahhh the days when we had time to sit on the couch.

2008

And last years…

Got up this morning and as I walked downstairs with Miles, I noticed that the windows were glowing pinkish-orange. It even made everything inside our house that color. Very weird. I just caught the tail end of it with my camera before it went away.

Our first child is all grown up and has met a special girl that he has moved in with. As you can see below, they are quite happy with each other. He promised to visit often… most likely for free food and laundry.

It was about a year ago that I took the picture of Nolan (on the left) and now about a year later brother miles strikes the same pose (on the right) and in the same hand-me-down shirt. Similar shots but I didn’t realize just how different they are till just now.

Its our distinct pleasure to introduce Miles Charles Rae.

Aka: Milenator, Mileage, (MPG) Miles per gallon, big pile of Miles, Miracle Miles…We’ll see if anything sticks.

So this was bit earlier than expected. He was not supposed to be here til June. Last Thursday we went to the hospital (again) for Lindsay to pass yet another kidney stone. I guess Miles was thinking, I’ve had it with this rock in my side…I’m getting out of here. He is considered a premie and has a tough road these next few weeks in the NICU but is doing ok. Lindsay is recovering just fine. I have set up a blog for her to go into more detail and post his updates.  —here is Lindsay’s Corner
